I’m proud to work with cancer support charity, Look Good Feel Better. Today, I volunteered at the Countess of Chester Hospital, along with the fabulous Vicky, Yvonne and Jody
The main reason I decided to go into the beauty industry was to help people feel good about themselves and boost confidence, whatever the occasion. Today I was able to use my skills to help women combat the visible side effects of their treatment, through the Look Good Feel Better skincare and make-up masterclass.
Look Good Feel Better is the only international cancer support charity providing practical support for women and teenagers struggling with the visible side effects of cancer treatment. Launched in 1994 their free skincare and make-up Workshops and Masterclasses are available all over the UK for people undergoing treatment for any type of cancer.
It’s easy to become a Look Good Feel Better beauty volunteer, all you need is a minimum of one years experience in cosmetics or beauty therapy and are proficient in the art of make-up application and skin care.
