I often speak to brides who are nervous about going to wedding fayres because they don’t know what it will be like, or what will be required of them and to be honest I felt the same way when I attended my first wedding fayre as a stall holder, so here’s what happened at one of our most recent wedding fayres.
Usually we attend wedding fayres together, Hayley and I, that way brides can speak to Hayley about hair related matters and I can chat make-up, but on Sunday 15th April I had to fly solo, which was a bit daunting, especially as I had never been to Blakmere craft centrefor a fayre before.
The event was open to the public from 11am so I arrived at 10.30 in order to set up my exhibition stall. As the theme for the event was Cheshire Woodland I wanted to make sure my stall looked the part so added some rustic touches and I am so glad I did as from 10:30-11am everyone around me was wrapped in their own bubbles creating their woodland stalls and the event organisers must have been hard at work hours before that, creating the woodland catwalk and erecting the teepees, it looked truly magical.
